The perfect basic top for women
Alies Design was asked to create a logo and branding for the new Dutch clothing brand Qolors in 2011. Founder Marijke Krabbenbos detected a gap in the market and developed 100% biologically manufactured t-shirts in 21 colours and 9 models for women. In collaboration with a large group of women, 10 Unique Selling Points were established, forming the requirements the t-shirts must meet. These standards can hardly be found in the current market. The Q of the brand has to be a separate element as well as part of the name and it was paramount to express the 21 colours and models throughout the designs. The target audience of Qolors is self-conscious women which are willing to go for quality and sustainability, besides being aware of the colours suiting them well.
