The daughter of gelataio Alessandro is called Ginevra which was also going to be the name of the ice cream parlour. A contemporary appearance was the exact factor Alessandro was looking for. Alies Design was inspired by the ice cream colours and the early 50s in terms of style. In terms of the logo, a choice of multiple formats and an attention-grabbing G was chosen. This decision was made to maintain the capturing factor of the logo throughout various formats and applications. Next to branding, Alies Design also helped with its interior. The chalk boards have been chosen to emphasise the traditional factor. Alessandro further wanted to play around with happy colours which addresses children.
